Getting Started
MergeDeck is a global M&A marketplace where you can buy, sell, and raise capital for real operating businesses, startups, and NBFCs, or connect with advisors and investors who work on these deals.
Click 'Sign Up' on the homepage and follow the steps. Once registered, you can apply for a role (Buyer, Seller, Advisor, or Investor) from your dashboard.
There are four roles: Buyer (looking to acquire businesses), Seller (listing businesses for sale), Advisor (consulting services), and Investor (funding opportunities). You can hold multiple roles.
Buying
Browse the marketplace at /listings or /seller-listings. You can filter by asset type, location, and budget. Sign in to see full financial details.
Once signed in, you can initiate a conversation directly from the listing detail page using the messaging feature.
Your profile information is only shared when you initiate contact. Listings are publicly visible but financial details require authentication.
Selling
Apply for the Seller role from your dashboard, get approved by an admin, then go to 'Create Listing' to submit your business details.
Listings are reviewed by our admin team. Approval typically happens within 24-48 hours. You'll be notified once your listing is approved or if any changes are needed.
Yes, you can submit an edit proposal for your listing. The changes will be reviewed by an admin before going live.
We recommend attaching financial statements, proof of revenue, and any legal documents. Supported formats: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, images.
Advisors & Investors
Apply for the Advisor role, get approved, then create an Advisor listing describing your expertise, years of experience, and preferred countries.
MergeDeck supports Angel Investors, Venture Capitalists, Private Equity, Family Offices, and more. Apply for the Investor role to post your investment profile.
Platform & Security
All listings go through an admin review before going live. We verify key details and may request additional documentation.
Yes. We use Clerk for authentication, encrypted data storage, and follow industry-standard security practices. Financial details are only visible to authenticated users.
MergeDeck supports multiple currencies including USD, INR, GBP, EUR, and more. Each listing shows amounts in the seller's preferred currency.
